(I realized that there are some reviews I've posted other places that never got posted here so I'm going to start moving them over. I'll try not to flood everyone's feeds.)
As usual, Stephen King has written a book that you don't want to put down once you've started it and the ending is far more coherent than some of his other books. As usual, there are some very disturbing scenes that I almost have to gloss over to be able to deal with. As usual, I was very much caught up in the book.
It's long, it's complex, it's creepy and I only read it in broad daylight when other people were in the house or at least coming home soon. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was that there were a few passages, in my opinion, that dragged and where I actually found myself skimming and jumping ahead. Other than that, a very satisfying Stephen King experience.
